Chaos mode; an extremely hard version of the game, can be unlocked by beating the game once on either Spartan, God or the Titan mode.

The following modes are unlocked once you have completed the requirements mentioned below:

• Challenge of Olympus - You must complete the game at any difficulty to unlock.
• Combat Arena - The Combat Arena can be unlocked by successfully beating all challenges in Challenge of Olympus.

Note: Trophies will get disabled if any Goldy Possessions are equipped.

After you have beat the game, you can equip Kratos with the 10 Godly Possessions after having found them. These items can be turned off or on by going to the Items Menu.

• Helios' Shield - Using the Helios' Shield increases the Hits Counter by 3 times.
• Poseidon's Conch Shell - Allows Infinite Magic
• Hephaestus' Ring - Once equipped this item lets you automatically complete all Context Sensitive Attacks without any effort on your part.
• Daedalus' Schematics - Will allow unlimited item use.
• Aphrodite's Garter - Aphrodite's Garter allows you the continuous use of the Athena's Blades.
• Hercules' Shoulder Guard - Using the Hercules' Shoulder Guard, the damage taken is increased by a third
• Hera's Chalice - Though it never runs out, this item slowly drains the health meter.
• Hermes' Coin - You can collect 10x the amount of Red Orbs by using this item.
• Zeus' Eagle - Allows unlimited Rage of Sparta.
• Hades' Helm - Equip Hades' Helm to max out your Item Meters, Health and Magic.
